The Course Media and Communication Studies: Data and Society is a Master's level's course at Malmö University.
In this course we set out to learn about data, datafication and algorithms in today's society. The aim of our project was to collect data about movies to understand how climate change is constructed in the CLI-fi movie genre, and how the public percieves this.
The course also included a visualization of the data. The visualizations we created can be found on the start page.
