My Story

I was born on the 9th of December, 1995, a Saturday. As a child, I was often quiet and were easy to forget I was there. I liked building with lego and constructing things. One of my favorite toys was construction cranes that I had several of. In August 2001 I started attending Lindsdalsskolan in Kalmar. I quickly became interested in writing my own stories. In year two, I wrote my first story that would later develop into the novel Assar Boss.

Elementary School (2001-2011)

My years in elementary school consisted of finding my identity. At my school, the boys were divided into two groups, those who were interested in sports (mainly football) and those who worked with computers (mostly computer games). I knew early on that sports were not my thing and the sports lessons were very tedious. Instead, I played a lot of computer games. In the beginning The Sims and Gary Gadget (swe. Mulle Meck) were my favorites. But I also played some of my parents' favorites, Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine and Diablo 2. This also made me develop good English skills early in my life.

In secondary school, I had a very easy time for math, chemistry and biology. The choice of Upper Secondary school programme was thus not difficult, it stood between Nature or Technology. Because of my computer interest, I chose Technology where I knew I would be able to do more work with computer science.

My time at Lars Kaggskolan (2011-2014)

During upper secondary school, a lot of my time was spent playing computer games, socializing with like-minded friends and installing computers. The summers were spent working with web design and databases at a computer company. My first year of upper secondary school was also spent writing my first novel, Assar Boss and The Return of Demon Lords.

My second year of upper secondary school consisted of a lot of programming, web design and photoshop. When choosing courses for my third year, I choose to focus more on graphics and photography. At the end of 2013, my future was uncertain. During this time, I was also taking my driver's license. I had the mindset of reading a Master of Science in Engineering programme in another city than Kalmar.

In the spring of 2014, I had my last courses, including a video production course. During that course I got a lot of motivation from my teacher who thought I had talent for video development. I also felt that this was something I wanted to continue to work with. It was also in the spring of 2014 that I started my Youtube channel. When the choice of a University programme was made in 2014, I therefore chose to continue my studies in media technology.

After Upper Secondary School and the Journalism programme

After my graduation I started studying media technology in Växjö. I quickly realized that this was nowhere near what I thought or wanted to work with. I found it difficult to feel any connection to my classmates and was not motivated to study. When the university admission round for 2015 opened, I applied to the Journalism and Media Production programme in my hometown Kalmar.

I was admitted in the second admission round in August 2015 and started my studies later that month. This time I realized that I had ended up in the right place. It was easier to get in touch with like-minded people. During the program I also got employment at Kalmar's local newspaper Barometern.

In the fall of 2017 I wrote my Bachelor's thesis which inspired me for higher academic studies. In the spring of 2018 I did an internship at the TV project where I recorded two feature films. At this time I started searching for Master's studies programmes. After my graduation, I was admitted into a master's program in Malmö, where I have been studing since.

Today

My passion is mostly in video and VFX, but I also have interests in photography, layout, typography, web design and social media.

I have a Master's Degree in Media and Communication Science. I have also obtained experience in professional TV production. I have worked at two production companies with a total of three productions. In addition to this I also have experience of editorial work from the newspaper Barometern Oskarshamntidningen.

In my spare time I work with photography, some studies, the gym and Turf which you will find more information under the project tab.
